Winners Announced for the 2019 UiPath Automation Awards, CEE Edition

Thank you to all who joined us at the How to Web conference in Bucharest, Romania where finalists of the 2019 UiPath Automation Awards, CEE (central and eastern Europe) edition presented their automation technologies.

There were three finalists competing for each award:

Start-Up Automation Award: Recognizing an existing team with a technical minimum viable product (MVP), who have received less than $1 million in funding

Scale-Up Automation Award: Recognizing an existing company with a currently functioning technology, who have received a maximum of $3 million in funding

We began accepting submissions for these inaugural UiPath Automation Awards in June 2019 and the response was fantastic. We received more than 100 submissions from 12 countries. You can learn more about the selection process and the Automation Award finalists in our press release.

We're thrilled to announce the winners of the 2019 UiPath Automation Awards, CEE edition:

Scale-Up Automation Award: Smartdreamers

Edward is an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered sales assistant that integrates seamlessly with sales teams' existing processes and software. Based in Poland, Edward provides sales process automation to sales representatives, freeing salespeople to spend more time with prospects and customers.

Headquartered in Romania, Smartdreamers is a software used by enterprises and fast-growing companies to accelerate their talent acquisition. Smartdreamers' technology is redefining recruitment management automation for organizations in today's 'automation first' era.

As a global company, we’re thinking about the UiPath Automation Awards on a global scale. UiPath began in Romania and the CEE region was integral to helping us move from a startup to scaling our own organization. We began with the CEE edition of our Automation Awards and we look forward to the opportunity to further expand Automation Awards into other global regions in the future.

But you don’t have to wait for the UiPath Automation Awards to come to your region to create and advance your own automations. We believe in the democratization of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and have a vision of a robot for every person. Towards that goal, UiPath Academy provides free RPA training and anyone can download the Community edition of the UiPath RPA Platform for free.
