UiPath Forward Has Kicked Off in New York Launching Academy 2 to 700+ Attendees

With the UiPath Forward Americas event already underway at Marriott Downtown New York, UiPath, a global leader in Enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software, has officially launched its free online advanced RPA learning program, Academy 2, designed to help tackle the global RPA skills shortage by building the world’s largest global RPA developer base.

Building on the success of UiPath Academy launched in April 2017 which counts 30,000 students in the RPA Developer Foundation Diploma course, Academy 2 is the first free-of-charge online Advanced Training for RPA Developers.

As a reflection of the company’s dedication to knowledge sharing, the training certifies and prepares participants to be production-ready immediately after course completion. The curriculum offers developers practical RPA development exercises focused on proven use cases, enabling them to master the UiPath RPA platform in a controlled environment. This is delivered alongside a series of webinars preparing users for a certification exam. Utilising UiPath’s methodology of automation best practices, Academy 2 also provides in-depth teaching on how to develop scalable enterprise-grade RPA deployment.

Watch Ana Cinca, UiPath’s Customer & Partner Success Chief Deputy Officer, telling the behind-the-scene story of Academy 2 and its impact on the market:

At the event, a powerful line-up of early RPA adopters among UiPath’s clients and partners is presenting to an attendance of more than 700. Throughout the day, the summit is going to hear from Dentsu, GE, HP, Equifax, JG Wentworth with implementation success stories by Avasant, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, and EY.

Sarah Burnett, VP, Everest Group, will reveal fresh new findings at the event,

Enterprise-grade RPA is critical to the success of automation projects today. Our latest research indicates that users value ease of software and robot maintenance, security, and scalability as the most important features of enterprise RPA. These reduce the effort that is needed to develop, run and maintain robots. Our findings show that enterprise RPA should also offer integrated cognitive and machine learning for processing unstructured data and provide detailed robot operational analytics.

Building on Forrester’s latest report that estimates the growth of the RPA market to $2.9 billion by 2021, Craig Le Clair, VP and Principal Analyst, Forrester will also unveil new research at UiPath Forward,

The majority of firms now believe RPA robots as digital workers are good for their organizations. Businesses today are looking for control and operations management, proof of scalability, and a cognitive AI roadmap when selecting an RPA provider. We are also seeing a growing variety of use cases for RPA and AI to accelerate, including chatbots with customer service, IoT sensors with predictive analytics and unstructured content with text analytics.

UiPath’s CEO and Co-Founder, Daniel Dines, who opened UiPath Forward considers the event as part of a year that truly consecrated RPA,

Today, I am excited to be outlining our priorities to continue to raise the bar on Enterprise RPA and deepening our commitment towards big scale, cognitive automation, ease-of-implementation, and strong partnerships.  We will also be hearing from the absolute avant-gardists in the automation industries sharing their successes and challenges, and we’ve invited analysts predicting the future on RPA and its role as the path to AI. I believe this event will further show that RPA is becoming commonplace in the digitization journeys of global organizations. UiPath is delighted to continue to lead our industry forward.

The next events in the UiPath Forward user summit series featuring prominent players and analysts in the automation space will occur in the UK on November 30th and India on January 17th - 18th 2018.
