Tansu Yegen to Present at the Future of Work Summit in Istanbul

Six months after launching its Turkish operation in Istanbul, leading robotic process automation (RPA) company UiPath is making impressive progress in the local market. On May 3, Tansu Yegen - leader in Turkey and Vice President for the EECIS region - will present at the Future of Work Summit on how automation is having a huge impact in the workplace.

This follows the company’s global announcement earlier in the week on closing a Series D investment round raising $568 million at a valuation of $7 billion, which makes UiPath one of the fastest growing and highest-valued AI enterprise software companies in the world.

In Turkey, UiPath is already working with over 50 local customers and signing more every month. Reputed local companies including Aksigorta, Albaraka Turk, Allianz, Arvato, BSH, Coca Cola Bottling, Denizbank, Is Bankasi, Mapfre, Otokoc, TFKB, Tupras, Vodafone, Yapi Kredi Bankasi, Yildiz Holding, and ZER are accelerating their businesses with RPA on the UiPath platform.

The team is also working with an impressive partner ecosystem that counts Bilge Adam, Deloitte, Dogus Teknoloji, EY, Itelligence, Kafein, KocSistem, KPMG, Isnet, Medyasoft/Renova, PWC, Softtech, Ucgen Otomasyon, Unite BT, and VBM among many others.

In a partnership with IT services group Bilge Adam, UiPath is the only RPA company delivering automation training in Turkish to local developers, preparing them to help local companies leverage the benefits of AI and RPA at enterprise level.

Tansu Yegen said:

We started out with high ambitions, and our local team has delivered on every commitment with a significant contribution to the local and global success of the company.  We have onboarded strategic partners that are delivering the UiPath platform to top-tier local customers. We are conducting our business without losing sight of the Turkish workforce, and we plan to train and certify up to 3,000 engineers on the UiPath platform every year.

Globally, by offering its Community Edition and free access to RPA trainings with UiPath Academy, UiPath has nurtured the world’s largest RPA community which now exceeds 400,000 users across 200 countries. The company serves eight of the top 10 Fortune Global 500, and over 50 percent of the top 50 Fortune Global 500.
