Bobby Patrick joins UiPath as CMO to accelerate Robotic Process Automation adoption

UiPath is happy to announce that Bobby Patrick has joined its senior leadership team as Chief Marketing Officer. UiPath's robotic software platform is at the forefront of the digital business revolution with the company having witnessed a 500% yearly revenue growth since 2015.

"I am thrilled to welcome Bobby Patrick to the UiPath team. UiPath is experiencing phenomenal growth, led by our emphasis on an open, extensible product architecture that easily scales. UiPath continues to maintain the largest engineering and development operation in RPA today. Bobby adds extraordinary experience in strategic marketing, go-to-market, and channel development, which will be critical to scaling UiPath as we expand worldwide and help customers transform to digital businesses." said CEO and Co-Founder Daniel Dines.

Bobby has driven significant growth in technology businesses for over two decades, ranging from Fortune 50 to start-ups. He most recently served as CMO for Hewlett Packard Enterprise's multi-billion-dollar Cloud business. Bobby was responsible for global branding, product marketing, communications and demand generation to deliver on the company's strategic growth imperatives. He served previously as CMO for Basho, GXS (acquired by OpenText), and Digex (acquired by Verizon). He began his career at the FBI as a computer specialist at the age of 16.

"I am more convinced than ever that digital business disruption begins with RPA. Now is the time for every organization to examine its digital workforce potential to complement and empower its human workforce. Combined they can achieve substantially better business outcomes and workplace experiences. UiPath is both a remarkable technology to lead digital transformation and a wonderful organization. I am excited to work with Daniel to deliver on his vision for the intelligent enterprise." said Bobby.

While only $250 million in 2016, Forrester Research estimates that the RPA market will grow to $2.9 billion by 2021. In April 2017, UiPath raised $30 million from Accel to automate the intelligent enterprise and lead this market evolution.
